I don't have my wee boy Baxter yet. I hope (weather permitting) to go collect him in South Wales on 27th December.

I love th name. It is such an exciting time but what a long journey you have to get him.I live nearly into South Wales.
I do hope the weather is better for travelling by then.There are lots of experienced Shih Tzu owners on here so if you need to know anything there will be someone can help you.

Thank you Carol. I am a strong believer in collective thought and using the knowledge of others to help. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

However, there is a bit of a hiccup regarding Baxter. He is a rescue puppy and there are some legal wranglings going on that I hope will be resolved and everything will go to plan. Got my fingers and toes crossed !
