It will be lovely to have a new pup. Have you thought of any names?

Re: hi to all of you
Hi Denise and a warm welcome from me as well. We are a very friendly bunch of shih tzu addicts, so feel free to ask any questions and someone will soon be along to help.
Good luck with your new pup, I am sure Missy would approve of her and be watching over you all.

Re: hi to all of you
Hello and welcome from me It is never easy losing your shih tzu baby (I should know I have lost a fair few over the years) but it will help you when the new baby arrives and you have a new life to think about. Puppies are so full of life and up to things they shouldn't be that you won't have time to mourn Missy... but I bet you that over the coming weeks you will find your new little one doing things that Missy maybe did when she was younger. I am a great believer that our babies don't leave us completely and will be around to help the new baby settle in xxxxxx
Don't worry if when you get her home you start to [panic and wish you hadn't done it... I did when I got Josh home (it had been 10 years since I had had a puppy in the house and over 25 when I had actually bought a puppy) - it soon passed over..;. but you forget how much attention a puppy needs and how it won't be in your ways immediatelky ar house trained etc
Have fun with your new baby and I bet in a few months time you will be able to think of Missy without feeling so sad - looking forward to getting to know you better Lesley xxxxxx

Re: hi to all of you
and welcome. Sorry to hear about Missy
I too lost my baby before Christmas and now have a new puppy. She's brought lots of joy to us and somethings she does remind me of Poppy and it brings a smile to my face.
