So many questions Empty So many questions

I bought Dylan a crate because the breeder used one and i thought it would be some kind of continuity for him. However he hates having the door closed and just barks and barks if i try doing so Neutral The moment i close the door he starts and just won't settle and i'm worried if i just let him go for it and the barking goes on for ages, he'll become distressed and hate the crate Crying or Very sad

What would you advise?

My sons dog barks like mad when she is put in the cage but only if they are in the house, if they go out she is fine !!! They left video camera running and she went straight to sleep when left. They do leave radio on.

We tried all the usual tricks with crate when we got Molly, nothing seemed to work so afraid I was lazy and just done away with it in the end, then I gave the crate to my daughter for her dog, now when we're visiting the first thing Molly does is make herself comfortable in Nelly's crate, no winning with a Shih Tzu (not mine anyway)

love maggie and molly
