We (Lee and Emma) are just on the verge of owning our very own Shih-Tzu and are so excited about the possibilities....although not the toilet training judging by some of the other forums....ha ha.

We've just been to visit Fluffyangels mum and we are collecting our new addition (Marley) on Friday 14th Nov.....CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Just thought we'd say hi to everyone now so when we come back to you all for invaluable advice you know a little bit about us.

Toilet training is not all that bad as long as you start as you mean to go on, and actually do TRAIN them - oh and remember that they are wee babies tp begin with

He is gold and white and we'll try to put a pic on as soon as we get him and start snapping away, although we met him tonight and he seems quite fond of the camera (as soon as one flash went he started vogueing...ha ha).

Hi my little one is 14 weeks old now and she lovely. She loves loads of cuddles and follows me everywhere. The only thing I have had problems with is her sleeping at night. She was great for the first week then after that she wouldn't settle barking and crying on and off all night. I was advised to get a crate which i did last week and for the past four nights she as slept like a baby.

I haven't had the heart to lock it yet as I had a bad first night with her Its all in the thread crate training.

So my advice would be get one for your little one.

Ok, thanks for the advice, I have a friend who bred Boxers for years and she gave me some advice about the crate so it's good to hear that we made the right choice and are having one delivered tomorrow....phew !

Oh well, hopefully the crate is getting delivered today and we're going to buy toys and a bed for him on Friday just beforewe come through for him.....2 SLEEPS TO GO!!!!!

I had a very long wait for my Willow...It was awful!! I couldn't sleep, as all I was thinking about was the day I was going to pick her up.

Willow is 13wks old on Saturday, she is having her 2nd injection and I can't wait to be able to take her out for walks. Once Marley comes home that will be what you will count down to next!!

We too have used a crate with Willow, with overall success!

Can't wait until Friday and then all the pictures come!!

i`m sure you will love it here everyone is so friendly, i would be lost without everyone.
i have 2 shih tzus molly who is 1 and lucy 5 months i also have ellie my 13week old chihuahua and 10year old staffie cassie. a real house full i`d still have more if hubby would let me but he said he would divorce me if i got any more, one day i might just have to test him...lol

i have some little blue doggy t-shirts for sale in the market place section if you are interested they are £5 including delivery they are very cute, i have sold out of all the pink ones

......anyway nice meeting you can`t wait to see photos of your little man, it will be great to watch another one of rebecca`s pups grow up.
