New Shih Tzu Owner

Hi, thank you for allowing me to join.  Millie who is 16 weeks joined my family (hubby and an adult son), she has been with us for 2 weeks and 1 day, and finally we are making improvement regarding her not letting me out of her sight  I took her to the groomers this morning so she has been well and truly pampered today

  And welcome to the forum, it's great to have you here. We are a very friendly forum and have only one rule, we love to see photos! I am sure you will have great fun with Millie, shih tzu are such an entertaining, loving breed who love their human companions. 

If you have any questions, just ask away and someone will be along to help. As I said we love to see photos of all shih tzu, but especially puppies, so if you would like to show us some of Millie feel free to upload them.

Hi there and welcome from me and my three babies Josh (whose photo is in the header of the forum) Isabella and Molly (my rescue foster dog who stole my heart ad is here to stay).

They are a real people breed and all of mine still follow me around.  If I go to the bathroom, I have two in the bathroom with me and Josh waiting patiently at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me  because he I scared of the stairs (yet he runs up and down stone staircases and wooden ones wen we are out an d about  LOL they are so funny. I am looking forward to getting to know you and   can't wait to see more photos of the beautiful Millie.

Don't forget when you had her you brought her away from everything she has ever known and it sounds like she's adopted you as mam and that's why she follows you.  she will gradually become  more independent as the time goes on - though as was have all said they do tend to like to know where we are and what we are doing.  Mine are all around my feet now but when I go out they tend to find a comfy place and snooze.
