Cathy my hungry hippo
We made the sad and gutting chose to have Cathy put at rest. She started to struggle with stokes so it was the best for her even though she believed she could live forever
We saw her come from a outside skinny terrier to a indoor hungry hippo that loved her bed and being with us
She was a bridesmaid at r wedding an had a lovely doggie Xmas.
We will miss her very much my oldie girl with bouncy ears

Re: Cathy my hungry hippo
So sorry to hear Liz, you must be devastated. It is the hardest thing we ever have to do, and it never gets any easier. She is now without pain and I am sure she understands why you made this terrible decision. Big hugs to you all.

So sorry for you both and the dogs too as they are going to miss her too. You know you made the right decision and you have showered her with love making the end of what was a miserable life comfortable happy warm and LOVED! Bless you for taking care and giving your all xxx Hopefully when it is not quite so painful you will post some of her lovely photos on here so that we have a permanent reminder of the little miracle you worked xxx

Re: Cathy my hungry hippo
I am so sorry Liz, it really is such a hard and heartbreaking decision to make. We went through the same thing last May with our chocolate labrador Mishka and I can't remember the last time I cried as much
