Hi Kaye a warm welcome to Shih Tzu Whispers. I am just over the border of North Pembrokeshire. I have two Shih Tzu's (definitely NOT for sale hehehe!!!) They are a fantastic breed and a very wise choice. My suggestion to finding a Shih Tzu would be to look at the Kennel Club and their breeders. Have you thought of a rescue one? There is Many Tears Rescue not far from Crosshands. They have one or two Shi Tzu's at the moment.
Here is their link.http://www.manytearsrescue.org/index.php
Any help in finding your Shih Tzu just ask, we are a very friendly bunch and with a lot of experience of the breed. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
Re: introducing myself
Hi Kaye and welcome to the forum, it's great to have you here. As Carol says we are a very friendly forum and love chatting about our shih tzu's antics, and believe me there are a lot of them!
You have done the right thing by joining us before you get your fur baby, so once you find them you will be all ready. The only thing I would say is don't jump at the first you see because you want a pup now, when you see the right one you will know that is the one for you. And don't feel pressurised into accepting one where you don't feel comfortable about the breeder or because you feel sorry for the pup, as it can lead to a lot of heartache in the long run.
Any questions, just ask away and we will do our best to help.

Re: introducing myself
Hi and welcome from me and my brood. If you are looking for a puppy then the best place to start is with the puppy coordinator of the shih tzu club. There are threads on here with links possibly in the puppy section but can't remember and I am away at moment and on my phone. There's also friends of the animals rct who often have shih tzu for adoption xx
