Rooney, Roxy&Pip wrote:Thanks for the advice on chill pads. I now have two, i cleared the stock in two argos stores. Cheapest i have seen is ebay £14.99 and £2.99 postage.

I also ordered a chillow mini for my partner which is fab too. I did read that u are not suppose to empty the water out of them as u lose what ever the put in them.  Would have liked the chillow for the dogs but not at £55 for a small lol!

I think the chillow pillows are overpriced for what they are.  I had to phone the company yesterday as I got a bit confused as to how much water it should have in it.  As mine hadn't been used for a number of years most of the water had evaporated and instead of weighing 1.9kg it was only 160grams!  I was a bit worried about filling it again as it also said to throw it away if it had mould in it or had a smell to it.  Well mine has a slight smell inside, but I guess that is bound to happen after having water in it for so long.  My daughter in law bought one at the same time that I got mine and within a week had managed to puncture it, so I wouldn't buy one again and I wouldn't spend what they charge for a pet one as I really can't see how they justify their prices.
