Re: Mass panic ahhhhh
She is still sneezing this morning and really not happy that se can't have a drink or eat. As for nerves I am ok I kinda expect these things to happen on the up side her eye infection is clear and the consultant for her leg has been booked ( takes a while to get a appointment with him ) hopefully this is just a hiccup in the life of Maggie Mae.
There putting something in her mouth then they turn it to look up her nose I think she is heavy sedated for this I am not sure as was all Abit of a shock at the vets. The vet said there is no problem her having her hair up lol ! And she can take her kong ball ! Have mentioned about the noise I don't think he believes me hope she does not disturb all the other poorly animals so I dug the sqeeky out

She has gone in breaks my heart when I walk out the door and she thinks she can follow proper sad eyes at me. She will have a general though :-( She is havin a endoscope or something like that up her nose.
The most depressing thing is she knows when I say " u wanna be weighed" to head to the scales and lie down dog should really know this command :-( update at 2

Re: Mass panic ahhhhh
I do hope you have good news soon with Maggie. Poor baby she has been through such a lot in her short life you really do feel for the litttle one. I have just come back with Mali who's been to the vets and they had just sedated a little one for an operation so I can appreciate what it means. sending positive vibes for you both.

Re: Mass panic ahhhhh
Bless her little heart. I totally agree Liz she could have stayed home this morning and let you take her in this afternoon. Do you have her home now.? Those grass seeds do get everywhere. I cannot help feeling they could have done this yesterday instead of her suffering . Poor thing. Send her hugs.
Re: Mass panic ahhhhh

Re: Mass panic ahhhhh
Thats because they haven't long done her... the b******s - so you are going to be doing the post op nursing (though to be honest you are probably happier doing it)! I had that once with a bitch who needed to get back to her pups but it was mighty scary (though she was quite poorly too where as mags is a healthy girl).
She is very lucky because grass seeds can migrate and be lethal and that means that the emergency vet who did not want to see her should be reported even more so!!
I spent about 15 minutes plucking grass seeds out of Josh's whiskers and top knot last night which he was not very happy about but better that than them going in his eye... they have a really nasty hook on the end.
Just tell her now that enough is enough... she has had more than her fair share of vet visits and ops.. it is time to give someone else the pleasure!!
Give her a hug from us xxxx

Re: Mass panic ahhhhh
Well I called them and said pick her up I don't think she was any state to come home as she went wee all over the vet floor ad clearly had not much feeling in her hide end but on the up I can do a better job an she is comfortable an happy at home. I also managed to win her over with a monkey that squeaks and a ball and a special dinner.
It broke my heart when I pop out and she was lieing over the back of the sofa ( she looks out the bay window to wait for me to come home) she was fast asleep all slumped over nearly off the back of it.
May I add the vet was shocke how such a big grass seed got up there !!!

Re: Mass panic ahhhhh
Glad to hear she is on the mend and you listened to your instincts and took her to the vets! Those grass seeds are horrible really! And because they can migrate they can do horrible damage.
