Re: Looking to rescue x
Someone from St Helens joined here a few days ago and is looking to rehome her 8 year old male as her daughter has developed a severe allergy. I have just emailed her as I don't know if she is sorted now. you can read her post here:- http://www.shihtzuwhispers.org.uk/t3081-wirral-shih-tzu-rescue#52846
and if you are interested maybe email her yourself. Good luck.
I just thought too - I put someone in touch with Elaine Macdonald the other week and they got sorted... her contact number is 0161 624 3171 or you could try Jo from Wirral Shih Tzu Rescue 07775 952660
and if you are interested maybe email her yourself. Good luck.

Re: Looking to rescue x
I did not realise that the 8 year old said no children!! How mad is that when he has come from a home with children? And 8 years old is NOT old for a shih tzu!
http://www.southernshihtzurescue.org.uk/
There is a rescue in the North East contact Mrs A Craggs 01207 560046 Tyne and WEar
There is also the
Little Dog Rescue
The Yorkie and Toy Breed Rescue
I would also give Friends of the Animals a go as you already have shih tzu in your families.
Many Tears in South Wales often have shih tzu and indeed they have loads at the moment mostly ex breeding bitches/dogs from 2 years up to 7 years old. There is only one I can see who needs to be in an adult home and as ex-breeding they only rehome to a home with a dog already so being shih tzu owners already you are in with a shout! You may have to travel a bit but have a look at them some of them are so adorable if I had the time and money I would adopt them all!! here is the website (you need to keep on scolling down it is a very long page and they are all spread out)

GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU GET ON

Re: Looking to rescue x
ooh got my fingers crossed for you xxx btw many tears do foster their dogs out and there was one there that was in yorkshire if I am not mistaken. If you have no luck with Barney (though I hope you do) then keep an eye on MT website in the future as they have lots of dogs there!
Don't forget I want to know all about how you get on and meet your new dog when you get him - along with your other one too xxxx

Re: Looking to rescue x
According to the Little Dogs Rescue site, he was still looking for a home on the 18th May, so give them a ring and see if he is still available. Good Luck!
