new puppy is here

hi all like the title says we have a new family member , we became proud mam and dad to a chocolate ( he looks black) with a little white/gray on his chest shih tzu he is 7 weeks old (8 weeks on monday) and gose all night with out useing the bathroom, uses the puppy pads for the bathroom and does so really well , we have decided to call him bonsai, indi was scared of him till about 10 pm last night and figured that he was not going to go away so she decided to play with him raceing around the living room sofa at 100 miles per hour each time she passed bonsai she would bark at him as to say come on play with me ........ well today she seem to be takeing on the new role of mother even thou she is not quite 8 months old , each time bonsai goes out of her sight she jumps down off the sofa gose looking for him once she has found him she is back up on the sofa watching his every move .

i will try and get a photo with my phone but the pics wont be that good

I love the name Bonsai - its brilliant.

You are going to have so much fun with your pair - I still laugh at shih tzu racing round with each other in their mad dashes even though I have seen it happen for over 30 years Indi and Bonsai are going to be such very very good friends - you will never regret your decision

I don't think he will be little , as my mother in law seen him today and said he had big paws so she does not think he will be a small shih tzu, barring in mine he is not quite 8 weeks , we like his name my 4yr old daughter wanted to call him mud ball after the the buddie films

Congratulations on your new addition Carol. Bonsai sounds like a gorgeous ball of fur and Shih Tzu goodness. You may agree with your daughters idea of a name once he has been out in the garden and run around a bit! It sounds like Indi is going to be a great Mum to him and look after him well. It won't be long and they will be cuddling up together I am sure. I can't wait to see photos of him, that's if he stands still long enough for you!

oh he is still he sleeps most of the day and all night only playing fist thing in the morning and 8 pm at night but indi and bonsai are on the sofa fast asleep still trying to get a photo but hes so drk hubby was onabout get a little mini video of him and indi and posting it on youtube then posting the link on here ,

ps are you sure he is chocolate??? Looks like a solid black to me (on the video)

im not sure he looks chocolate in the main light but when i bathed him today and blow dryed him he dose have lighter fur coming threw witch looks lighter chocolate than he dose now ill just have to wait and see .. ill keep uploading as many videos as i can as im not missing 1 little bit of his progress

Bonsai is gorgeous. My hubby has actually admitted now that it was a good idea having a second one.So Carol no you won't regret it for a moment. The only time it becomes a problem is if one of them does something wrong and you don't see them do it, you don't know which one it was LOL. My two race around at 100 miles an hour it is so funny because Mali is so small and extremely fast and Tasha is so big and a dumpling racing after Mali . Though Tasha is definitely getting faster. Tasha went to have her Booster on Tuesday and got weighed she is 8.1kg so I have to keep tabs on her weight. Mali is a mere 5kg

I'll get both of my babys weighed when I take bonsai for his first jabs next week

I think Bonsai and Indi are going to be brilliant with each other. There isn't going to be a quiet moment in your house!

I know there won't be quite time here till bonsai get tired and I have to separate them so bonsai can get some sleep.... Bonsai on my knee and Indi trying her hardest to get to him.... He slept all night again with no snoring this time so hubby was please to get some sleep on the third night of bonsai being here.... Bonsai had to have a late bath last night as he decided to have a poo and sit it it so it was puppy shampoo at the ready and washed his bot and dryad him , indi was not happy the fact bonsai was getting a wash with out her so decided she was going to try and attack the hair drying while i was drying bonsai, oh the fun and games of to darling puppys
