yip, will do, sounds like the best book to get. Still confused on the boy or girl isue, are the boys more playfull and the girls more male dominant?Think will go for a boy,just worried about the humping things. Had a King Charlrs spaniel when i was a kid and can always remember him out in the garden with a blanket! ! ! not good for Granny to see !

hi teddy bear was just reading your reply about a boy or girl fur baby and humping well indi is 4 months next week (29 th sept) and she humps her bed so too me i dont think it makes a diffrence what sex you get , as to the humping situation we are going to look for a little fur boy in november as hubby says i can get another fur baby for my 30th birthday as indi has touched our hearts in only a week

I have a girl pup and of all my dogs, she is the most playful. If the others won't play she is happy to get all her toys out and just play on her own!!

Now im confused! ! !Oh well just have to wait and see when the time comes for us to get a puppy. Just want a healthy well bred pup. Will just enjoy looking at all of your fab pics and tips on everything about the Shih tzu!

To be honest I would say go and see several litters and sooner or later the right pup will pick you. And don't be afraid to walk away if things don't feel right. It may take a while but you will find the right pup for you eventually.

Mali my 3 yer old will play and she is the one who gets all the toys out of the toy box and toss her toys around and will play with them all by her self. But Tasha lmost 2 years old isn't interested in toys at all and though we have encouraged her to play with the toys it's as if she doesn't know how to play, she is more content to chase Mali's tail while Mali is playing.
