Re: I have a new baby
That is amazing! Bella was obviously meant to be. People will start to think we are twilight fans..........any jacob's, charlie's, Esme, Carlise's, Alice or Jasper's out there?!
I remember naming one of my mum's springer spaniels Bella (We had two litters)....wonder where she is now?! I wanted to keep her.

simbalove wrote:oh thats a lovely name hun xxx
It was all very strange with Isabella - my friends had been suggesting names all wednesday evening and it was weird but they kept giving me names of shih tzu I had already owned or my mum had (even to suggesting Peggi Sou ) then Mary suggested Isobel and I really liked the name. All Thursday morning the name Isobel rang out in my head (though I wasn't going to go get a puppy at that point as I felt sick and emotional) then I told my mum about the viewing and also the name and she thought it was a bit of a mouthful so I was put off it a bit. At the breeders although Tracy and I thought I would go for the other puppy before I got there, I really fell inlove with this one and as I agreed the purchase I told the breeder I didn't yet have a name for her and she told me thaty had already named her although I didn't have to use their name she was used to it already..... I asked what and they said "BELLA"!!!!!! PROVIDENCE or what????? So Isabella she is
It was obviously meant to be Isobella, but I bet it will get shortened to Bella most of the time. Sometimes fate has a funny way of bringing us together, and it definitely has with this little one. Mum was over the moon for you, and got all excited when I showed her the photo you sent me. She loves the colouring as well, it will be fun to see how it changes as she grows up, but she looks very pretty at the minute.

sujay wrote:Excuse me, but get in the line behind me, then my Mum, and I dare say Tracy before you get any puppy napping plans if you don't mind!!! I don't think Lesley is going to be short of doggy sitters do you?
I'm definately in line Sue. Got to say I could easily have walked out with that other little girl but when I got home Oscar and Louis were full of cuddles for me and no little accidents anywhere there was a 'phew, would I want to go through that again feeling'. I did think maybe I'd get a baby fix because Lesley doesn't think her holiday cottage owner will allow puppies so Bella was going to be mine for a week. One look at Lesley with this pup though and its obvious by hook or by crook Bella is going on holiday too, hidden up Lesleys jumper no doubt!

Re: I have a new baby
I think you will be almost definitely still needed Tracy never fear and Sue she is not going to change that much - she is a beautiful gold not as red as Josh but will stay the gold she is - her coat is like his was too. She was not as fluffy as her sister Ellie but it is thick and the same texture as Josh's was so I am hoping for the same easy going coat - once it manages to get down to the ground xxxxx
Re: I have a new baby
I don't know, she's almost identical colouring to Oscar as a pup, I've been trying to dig out a photo to show you but i can't find my portable hard drive. i have all alex's baby photos on there i'm frantically looking.

Re: I have a new baby
How about we go and buy a pot of paint Tracy? Then she would change colour for sure! What do we fancy, bright purple or maybe a nice lime green?

Re: I have a new baby
I read in a Shih Tzu book that if their skin is dark they will stay dark, if it is light their coat will lighten. Both my girls colour haven't changed at all and Tasha's skin is light. It was so funny just now ,I heard this strange noise coming from the sitting room so went to see what was happening,I usually bring the their day bed next to me here in the dining area while I am on the Laptop and there was Mali underneath the bed walking around with it trying to bring it in here I suppose,I tried to get a photo of her and called her name hoping she would peep out from underneath but she climbed on top of it and wouldn't get off it for me to bring it in here so I had to drag her and the bed in here and now they are both fast asleep on it. Mali is such lazy girl ,

Re: I have a new baby
Yes your right it is an animal foods place we go to now and then. If you saw my post earlier - i can't remember which Thread it was but it was so funny. I heard a scraping sort of noise coming from the sitting room, went to look and it was Mali with the bed on top of her walking around with it. I think to get it nearer to me in the dining area, you couldn't see her just the bed moving around.I went to get the camera which is always on standby and called her name hoping she would peep out and I could take a photo of her but she came right out. Then she got on top of the bed and wouldn't move for me to bring the bed closer so I had to drag the bed with mali on it the lazy thing. The pic below is one time when Mali was doing this.

That is right for black coats - if the skin is blue then the black will stay black, if not the black usually fades to grey.
I really enjoy your posts - just to see which picture we have this time - and your girls are lovely and I particularly like this photo

There is no stopping me since finding how to put photo's on here. Have you noticed that the girls have left room for a third baby on their bed! I did try Bill to consider Ben but no way will he give in.
Re: I have a new baby
I saw the post re the bed walking around the room. That is really funny, bless them. I agree there is room for one more. I have found one i like but it aint happening. I make myself worse for looking

I know exactly what you mean, it is frustrating when we have to abide by another. We can't just do what we want but the other half can.
Re: I have a new baby
men need to be told not asked! Just do it ladies - they'll fall in love with them the minute you bring them home! And us girlies are the ones who do all the hard work looking after them - so what difference will one more make?? Come on - you know you want to!

Found a similar bed
I keep admiring that bed too and came across something similar but a bit pricey not sure if the link will work http://www.netpetshop.co.uk/p-31080-scruffs-giant-dog-bed-grizzly-bear-paw-print.aspx
If I ever manage to convince my mum and dad that Tyler needs a little sister then I might have to get one of these.

Re: I have a new baby
Link works fine Amanda but OMG I don't think that is the sort of price I would want to pay for my dog to chew it up or something
I would need to win the lottery first!!
