Milk when do you stop giving it?

Poppy is now 8 weeks old I was just wondering what age do you start introducing water?

I think you can start putting down the water now, if I can remember rightly my puppies started drinking water after 6 weeks as well as there milk. I may be wrong.

I put up a water bottle for the puppies as soon as they were started on gruel, which was around 4 weeks old. They all picked up on using the water bottle pretty quickly (except for one who had to be taught), so I'd say you can put down the water any time.

I too had a dish of water down at al times for my puppies once I started to wean them so she certainly can have water now and fresh water needs to be dow for her at all times. Having said that I would still keep on with a milky meal for the time being.

Thanks guys I will start to wean her off it going to mix water with it and reduce it that way.

She loves her ready brek in a morning

When Coco had the pups there was always a bowl of water down and once they started eating or should I say licking up their sloppy foods they followed their directions from mum and just started using the water bowl. I also used to put down a bowl of puppy milk each day and occasionally buy some now and then, Coco amsolutly loves a bowl of puppy milk.
