Dog gravy !!!!
Does anyone have a recipe for dog gravy, i feed my two RC with a small amount of JWB pouch just to flavour but Oscar dosn't seem bothered about the wet so i thought if i could find something to put on their dry food that would be better (not water) Holly got wise to that. Then i just might be able to get them back on dry !

Re: Dog gravy !!!!
Hi Sandra
My dog eats Burns dry food Chicken and Brown Rice flavour and he adores raw carrot on top with frozen peas that have been thawed out. He has been on Burns food since he was a puppy and loves it. The last Shih Tzu I had ate everything but unfortunately he developed very bad allergies and was on steroids for most of his life so I decided with this guy not to give anything other than good quality dry food and raw veg. He is thriving and it is very easy to feed him. Hope you are successful in getting Oscar back on the dry food.

Re: Dog gravy !!!!
Hi, i tried Burns and JWB dry the problem is Oscar always follows Holly if she dosn't eat he won't he always waits for her to start before him its really funny to watch if they have a chewy he looks at Holly as if to say do we want this ! Then when they take it Holly will drop hers and Oscar picks them both up and waits for me to say leave then they pick their own up and eat it. Strange little things.

Good gravy to add to kibble and the pups love it !!!
Here I discovered something that works really well on kibble.
We cook up chicken, or liver, or beef etc.......and then remove all the fat and put it into the blender and purree with cold water and presto !! instant gravy.
I freeze up enough for 3 days at a time and just before eating , I heat about 1/2 cup of the pureed meat mixture and add it to their kibble and believe me, not a drop of food left in the bowls....they love it - just be sure to alternate the meat so they don't get bored.....
