Face trimming !!!!!!!!!!!!! (and bottom)

Hi, i am after some advice about clippers for doing Oscar's face and bottom . He goes to the groomers every six weeks but his fur grows so quick. (i did have some clippers which a neighbour borrowed and broke and never replaced) new as well !!!
I've looked at some on e-bay but so many to choose from and just not sure, i don't want anything to big or heavy, and is battery better than plug in ????

Thanks anyway, i will have a search, its only to tidy him in between cuts, he has come back from the park today filthy and covered in grass cuttings ????

i don`t trim the face as i find it better to let it grow and put it in a top knot, now i do trim their bums, when i was at crufts i bought some mini clippers, just battery powered ones think they cost me £14.99 i find it easier than scissors and quicker.

hi Sandra i just used normail hair clippers on Amber,i think you'll find electric is better as batteries wont last as long,so just find some good clippers and use the longest comb till you get the finish you want

Its just for in between cuts he grows that quick and his coat is really thick.

my mini ones just use 2 x AA batteries and they seem to last a fair while, but you can get mini electric ones they are more expensive though

Hi Sandra, I have those wahl clippers. I found them on ebay. They work ok around the bum, bit of a tough task for them around the face, or its maybe just me being really pants at trimming faces. Roxy's face grows so quick. The groomer has kindly said I can call in whenever to get Roxy's face trimmed for nothing......nice one!`

Will send for them and give it a go ! If only to use round his bottom. (come to think of it i wouldn't like to use same one for face and bum) or am i being to fussy.
