Lesley Apologises

Just a quick message from Lesley. She apologises for not being on here much recently but is having major problems with her Internet, which is going so slow, it is almost going backwards. She will be back as often as she can until it gets sorted, but if there are any major problems just give a call to any of the moderators, and we will try and help you out.

Still having problems folks - been ill so not been able to get my brother to help me out. Need to get my new router installed and then hopefully all will be well (this is the second time I have written a meesage but last time my internet went down just as I clicked the post button )

Thanks Hun - and glad to say my router is now sorted so fingers crossed my internet problems are behind me (it certainly seems much more stable )

That's good, you don't realise how much you use the internet untill you can't............................. glad you are feeling well again.

Sorry I am not around much at the moment - been a few problems (both family and work - seem to spend all my time there at the moment) and this week I am experiencing very slow or non-existent internet connections so I can't post from home. How are you doing girl? Hope your back isn't giving you too much trouble now! I haven't been on much lately either. Had an exam yesterday which I failed so have to do it again coming friday the 10th of june. And have just heared I have Fibromyalgia ......
Hope your family and work will be fine soon and your internet will keep working.

I am so sorry to hear your news, I wish you well and hope you get better news about your exam next week.

Lesley has been home with her Mum this week, but should be back here next week. Sorry to hear about your exam and Fibromyalgia Famke. Fingers crossed it all goes well next Friday and that they can get your problems sorted. Living with constant pain can be very draining and hard work.

Started studying again today, know now what I need to put the focus on!

Sorry to hear about your exam Famke and the fibromyalgia which is a horrible condition.
I have had my pre-op assessment witht he spinal surgeon now and am shortly to have spinal surgery. It will be more extensive than they first said as they x rayed me on the day of the pre-op and took a larger section for picture than the MRI that my local hospital had done and so they realised that my spine is degenerating throughout. So they are now going to do the fusion surgery on the discs they had planned to do and also insert spacers between the discs higher up the spine in an attempt to halt the condition.

I am quite scared - don't like doctors at the best of times and not had a full aneasthetic since I was 14!! The biggest worry though is I won't be able to drive for at least 2 months, won't be able to shop and won't be able to walk my dogs. I also won't be able to lift them so sleeping arrangements are a bit of a worry too - as is their coat care... how on earth am I going to bath them??

Now I am beginning to wish I had found Mr Right - instead of being so damn fussy

It has to be done - I have accepted now that I am really struggling to cope with my everyday life and the pain (despite the cocktail of drugs I take) - but it is an awful worry!!

Lesley I am so sorry to hear all this I wish I was nearer and I would help out. It all sounds amazing what they can do and going to do for you.

Oh Lesley that sounds like one hell of an operation, in more ways than one! Wish I lived nearer to you so I could help with your two Shih Tzu's! I hope you will be able to get some help nearby!

Lesley so sorry to hear this do you know when they are going to do the operation yet? Hopefully you can find someone to help out with the dogs for a little while and dont forget you are going to do need some TLC too xx

Tracy has offered to have them when I am in hospital if my sister can't come down which was lovely of her - especially as she alerady knows what a madame Isabella is

I expect the op anytime during the next 3 months - thats as much info as they are giving me at the moment!

I thought maybe Tracy would help you out , she's a good girl. Tell that surgeon to get you fit again for the Burns Dogs Day out, we'll miss you if you can't be there.
